Wow, I feel so sad as I look through my pictures and see how many I haven't put on here. I don't think I have even blogged about the boys' baptism!! I should hire someone to blog for me. So, here are more pictures of things I want to remember from 2013!
Ben Young pulled us around early this year with the four-wheeler. It was so fun and he went fast and over some hills! Fun!
Working on Alex's first ever Pinewood Derby Car!
His school teacher even came to cheer the kids on! I wish I had gotten a picture of her there.
It wasn't until the end that we found about the stuff you grease your car up with, but Alex didn't seem to mind that his was last most of the time.

It was a snowy day and the kids wanted to go swimming, so they just swam in the bathtub!
We had been making snowflakes at home, when Alex said he wanted to make a spider snowflake. This is what he made on his first try! I thought it was amazing!
Kids chair I reupholstered. Seriously, this should have its own post. I was so proud.
Before- don't be fooled by the pictures. It was sooo worn down and dirty. The fabric on the arms was hardly even there any more!
Finished! And soon I will put pictures of it in Emme's room! It was what started the whole thing. I think it turned out so cute!!
Flying kites this summer. They got soo high! That is always satisfying. Of course, we spent a lot of time with them on the ground, too.
I love how Alex decided to hold his kite, once he got it up in the air.
Do you like Irelyn's swimming suit on the outside of her clothes?
Oh, man. The rainbow trout that Alex so proudly brought home from fishing with the Scouts. He was convinced it was going in the teeny fish tank with the Beta fish. It took a lot of convincing to help him understand that it was already dead and that fish can't live out of water. You should have seen his reaction when we told him you are supposed to eat them! But, a few YouTube videos later and the next time we went fishing he was all over killing the fish and eating it!
This was his face as I started explaining that it was dead.
Tristan's first day of Scouts.
Ahhh... playing in the mud.
Hunter must think our house is soo cool!
Irelyn and Paige
Working on math over the summer
Finally making Alex's volcano!
Dancin' on the counters! Oh, yeah!
Emme's face here cracks me up!
When Shaylene came to visit and she spoiled all the kids with presents! It was so fun to have her visit and I love how we can just pick up right where we left off, even though we haven't seen each other for years!
Irelyn was making some kind of play area for all her animals.
It was so fun to have her visit!
Alex's dream come true when we went to see the Sounds Choir summer musical "The Music Man." He loves that movie and the music. He still keeps asking if Professor Hill will come to his birthday party!
One of the teachers from their school was in the barbershop quartet. He told me that every time Alex sees him, they sing together, "Ice creammmm...."
Such a fun year we had and this isn't nearly everything! But I'm glad to get on here at least some of it!!

I can't believe Alex's spider snowflake! What a great idea! He did it! That's a wow in my book.
The girls are so cute in their braids and dancing on the countertops, haha! Your kids are so happy in the pictures. That was so nice of Shay to buy them cool presents like that. :) Thank you for all these. In the one with Paige and Irelyn, Paige looks like she's thinking, "Are you really sure about this?" Ah, what fun!
