End of summer part 2, "2011"

This is Danny again, thought I would come up with another post, whilst Mel and the kids are sick.

This is a good picture to start out with, little Emmy all covered in spaghetti sauce. That's always fun!!

Some really cute pictures of the kids at the water park in Rexburg.
"Hey guys there's water coming out the ground here."

Whatcha looknat?  Hunters' questioning eye's ask.

SQUOOSHIE BABY IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY.

Alex

Tristan

Drying out in the sun, is so nice when you're cold.

This was what I found out on the deck one morning.

Alex holding Emmy singing, you are my sunshine.

Every once in a while you get a glimpse into Alex as he is, without autism.

The 4th of July 2011 Parade.
On the lawn in font of my parents back neighbors house...It is very nice to have a spot each year, without having to save it, or look for one..

The Fireman's Bagpipe Band!!!!
This year they were throwing T-SHIRTS and Tristan got one and gave it to me.  What a sweetie he is.

A good picture of how little Emmy was almost 2 years ago.
Sitting on my camp chair foot rest. SOOO CUTE!!!! I just want to eat her all up.

A little out of order, This was the night before we were doing some fireworks and called the Darringtons, to come over and watch it was sooo fun.

I love family, friends, summer, and Barbecues!

Doesn't that look so good and inviting?!

I learn something new each year, this year I learned to have a squirt bottle on hand to put out the grease fire at the bottom of the barbecue, or you will have a nice inferno....

Cameron and his family came to watch the fireworks with us, and bought us some kettle corn....
This is the 24th of July breakfast.
Josh grabbed Emmies hand and was leading her all around it was so funny.

Cute little fatty munchkins.

This was the end us trying to find Alex at Rigby Lake!!  We couldn't find him for about 15 minutes- it felt like an hour...Just another way Alex takes off a whole year off of our lives.

Principessa cutie pants, trying to sort out some shoes for the other pudgy cuteness...

1st time bowling in 2011!!!!

The kids got some coupons for bowling for the Summer Reading program at the library, and so we went.  It was so fun and funny to see Alex run and throw it down the lane.  They put up the bumper guards and Alex actually was able to get a gutter ball (with Dads help) as you can see in the next picture.

I was helping Alex, and we bounced it up and over the  bumper guards.

We're waiting our turn. Look at Emmy, she soooo small and cute!!!  Why do they make those shoes SO  ugly?...Maybe they haven't replaced them since the 70s...

Here is Alex's chicken wing way of throwing it.

Again cute Emmy.

Tristan throwing it.

Alaina granny bowling...

If this video works, it will show you how funny Alex was bowling...Again it was sooo fun and we said we should do that again, and haven't been since. Except  when Alex ran off to Bowlero by himself  :-( but that is another story.

Danny & Tristan Go Camping (Blog post courtesy of Danny)

Here is Emme. Nothing to do with going camping, but cute, nonetheless.

Justin said he was going camping and going to take Tristan, and they let me come, too! It was so fun. I forgot how fun camping can be.
Justin and Tristan setting up camp.
This was the summer of 2011, by the way. Yes, it is a little late.

Tristan getting some more clothes on.

Still setting up camp...as you can see the car is behind Justin and we are outside the boundaries, which is fine for us to be there but not the fire. Meaning, we started the fire in the same fire pit someone else had used and the Rangers came by and gave us a hard time about no fires outside the boundaries...So we had to move our fire which was kind of fun, but not at the same time.

New fire pit and just chillin'

Roasting marshmallows or marshmallowing

We love marshmallows

We did tinfoil dinners.. yumm... and tinfoil breakfasts (which I had never done) but very good and hot for your cold tummy.  Tristan and I woke up and went and got a huge dead tree and pulled it back and cut it up for firewood. Tristan thought that was sooo cool...
Tristan eating breakfast.

After breakfast, Tristan and I went hiking up to the top of this hill, which doesn't look very high here, but on the picture you can see that it is pretty high.

There is Justin, that little ant looking thing in between the tent and the car.

Tristan on the edge of the world

All in all it was very fun and Tristan was tired on the way home.

By the way, this is my first full blog post ever!!! :-)   -This is Danny Campbell, signing off.
