Every day Alex takes a notebook to school where his teachers can write notes to me or me to them and where his "smiley faces" for good behavior are recorded. Yesterday his notebook had a frowny face for reading time and this is what it said next to it- " "Didn't go to Resource room for reading. Hid in the office. That's new! He went into the office- the principal (Mr. Murdoch) said, 'Alex, can I help you?' Alex said, 'No, I am hiding.' "
I had to laugh- I think his deception skills need some work. :)
