Emme's Room

Well, this is about a thousand years old, but I wanted to put some pictures of Emme's room on here, just so that I have it recorded. Especially since Irelyn has torn off some of the cute wall decals since I took these pictures, (wahhhh!) and because someday this room will have bunk beds for Alaina and Emme, and so it will look different then, too. So, here are lots of pictures of something you have already seen! (Man, I wish I had posted this before Mommy died!! And, yes, someday I will do a post about that, too.)
I made this bookcase out of a super ugly old one from D.I.
Here's the bookcase before. Truly, this does not show how beat up and ugly it was.
What the living room looked like while we were painting the bookcase!

This was the polka dot basket before I re-covered it.
And this was the green lampshade before I covered it, too!

I covered theses letters and painted the swirls. This pictures doesn't really look that great, but it's really cute in real life!

I re-upholstered this chair, which I am SUPER happy about! My first time to try it, and it went so well! Here are some before pictures-

Here's Emme trying it out!

Oh, I made the curtains and the runners and painted the nightstand and re-covered the polka dot lampshade, too.

Okay, that was a lot of pictures of it looking all clean and nice. Unfortunately, shortly after this Alaina got a dollhouse, and it is rarely clean since. Here is what it usually looks more like.

I love having it re-done and it makes me happy when I walk by it. It is so fun to play in and be in.
Oh, and here is a random picture of my room with the new lamp and nightstand I got for Christmas. Did I already put this picture on? Well, I can't remember, so here you go!

I love Emme's room!!! It is so, so cute. Love the colors. Especially love the curtains you made.... and the one of a kind little chair. It will be so cute with bunk beds in there someday too! Although, then you will probably want to redo the room again and that room will officially be the room most decorated/changed in your house!
