Two nights ago I slept horribly. I tossed and turned all night long. I hate that. So last night I decided that I would get myself good and tired before going to bed. So at 10:30, instead of going to bed, I put in Breakfast at Tiffany's, with the idea that I would clean while it was on. But as soon as that music started I was hooked. Again.
So I stayed up much too late watching all the special features, crying when she throws Cat out of the cab in the rain, and of course deliriously happy when it all ends well.
I love Audrey Hepburn in this movie. Her big, innocent eyes that look so sad sometimes. And George Peppard, who seems so protective and kind.
And in the end, I love a sappy story that reminds us that we do belong to each other. And that love isn't a cage, but something that sets us free and makes us better than what we were before. And I love that great kiss at the end.

I LOVE this post.
Ahhh, now I want to go watch this movie while I'm unpacking! I keep staying up watching biographies while I', supposed to be putting stuff away but I usually get caught up in the celebrity lives they are talking about.
I LOVE that song too and I might just keep your blog up just hear it all day! And Audrey Hepburn is so pretty in this movie! And I LOVE that you posted again!See, it doesn't have to be some big thing, just a thought or explaining why you stayed up so late.
Hi! It's Haley. I put 'anonymous' so I didn't have to sign out of your account. Even though I'm here at your house, while you're making chocolate chip cookies and I'm just sitting here not helping, I had to say that I love this post. And I love this music. It makes me feel happy, yet kind of sad, yet kind of calm and peaceful. I feel a lot of feelings. :) Thanks for letting me come play all day! And thanks for the cookies! Yum!
I've never seen that movie. But now I HAVE to. I think tonight I'll go rent it. Or buy it. Probably buy it.
