Before and Afters.. well, almost after
Here are some pics of the desk and chair I got. The desk was $25 and the chair was $20- it would have been $2 at a garage sale. You will have to use your imagination a little bit. They looked worse in real life before and they look better in real life now than the pictures show. (The chair particularly was rather horrendous.) And of course, it will all look a lot better after I finish off the room. But now I will be working on the bathroom, too. Like I didn't have enough to do already! I will try to take some better pictures soon. Sorry!

I can't wait to see them all done! It's amazing what an eye for the finished project can see. Like that chair. Blahh. But look what you did to it?! Now it is sooo much cuter! The desk too, it's just that the chair was a lot worse before. Anyway, sooo much better! Now I want a big house and room to add shelves and stuff.
Oh, by the way, Brooks said if he decorated then every wall would be covered in bookshelves. He said it would be like Ben's room but clean. Funny, hu?! I don't mind the bookcase look, quite like it actually, if they are cute bookcases and in the right places! Can't wait to see you finished product.
Have fun sucking up clear toilet water with the shop vac thing!
I absolutely love before and afters! Especially from people I'm close to...like, your MOTHER. ;) Who would have known that that chair and desk could look so different? Fun, fun!
