Doesn't it look totally different with the trim and moulding on?! I couldn't stop looking at it tonight. Which is probably why it is 1 am and I am still awake. But who cares?! We're getting there! Hopefully, tomorrow night we will put the new toilet in and the sink back in with new hardware, then put up the new mirror, toilet paper holder, newly painted shelves, etc. I hope it all comes together okay!
And yes, someday I will take pictures of my kids again and put them on here. This has just had such a time crunch on it, because we are really anxious to put the toilet back on. Especially since Alex came in there yesterday, looked at the floor and said, "Go potty?"and started to pull out the sacrificial towel! I yelled, "Nooo!" and ran after him. Probably scared him a bit.
So, after this we will replace the doors and closet doors, paint the hall and finish the family room. Whew! It will feel like we have added a whole new floor to our house. It's so hard to wait! And then I can blog about things like what I ate for breakfast again. It was eggs today, in case you wondered.

I ate eggs for breakfast too! I usually just eat cereal, but today I woke up and saw that it snowed two inches, so eggs sounded yummy. Don't ask why, I don't know...
Anyways, back to your post, I can't believe how much better the bathroom looks! And I'm so so so glad that you're taking the time to write about it every once in a while, because I like being updated. I have yet to write on my blog about the annoying entertainment center fiasco. My job today is to sand it all down. It will look so much better in the end. I just have to keep telling myself that.
Wow. I can't believe how much the trim adds! I'm glad it's you doing that stuff right now, cause it sounds hard and time consuming, etc.
On the other hand, I've spent the day going through stuff for the move, and that is also time consuming, tiring and also makes the whole house feel cluttered and messy. To add to it, I just started doing our weeks worth of laundry. AND we took the kids to the mall to play on the toys and all three of them were exceptionally crabby and squeaky. Now they are eating cereal and I can't wait for them to go to bed so I can finish unburinging out bed.
Hmmm. Maybe I'd rather be doing your bathroom!
Your beadboard looks so good! You are going to enjoy your makeover every day! Thanks for posting the pictures - your work ethic (and play ethic ;) is phenomenal, and you and Danny have made your house a home. Enjoy!
It is looking a lot better! I remember when we redid tons of stuff in our old house. We used have this awesome yellow tiled floor in our kitchen along with pink countertops. The carpet was blood red with green drapes. Obviously all of that had to go since we weren't living in the 70's. . .I'm excited to see the finished product!
