For some reason it is so fun to take pictures of kids when they are crying about silly little things. If I took a picture every time they were doing that, I would have a LOT more pictures.
I think Danny took this picture because he likes to laugh at what I will put up with while on the computer. (I think Irelyn might be drawing on me.)
Back from this Spring when Alaina was learning to ride her bike. She impressed us all with her great jumping skills any time the bike started to fall over. She was like a cat! She had sooooo many bruises anyway, but that motivated her to learn to ride, which she did!
This is what Irelyn's underwear and swimming suits always do and it makes us giggle.
Cress Creek hike. It was fun, but not as fun as the ice cream we got after!
Yay! Ice cream! A great reward for a whole one mile hike.
Easter. Yes, in 2014. I have totally accepted that all my pictures are totally out of order.
She picked out her own outfit, which was probably hard for you to tell!
Irelyn, in a rare moment of kitty tranquility (although kitty doesn't look very tranquil!)
A good book and a guinea pig- who could ask for more?
Father/Son/ Daughter Campout. Basically, this meant that Danny went camping with the three older kids (yay!) while I stayed home and went to the Shamrock garage sales. Happy day!
Alex asleep at Grandma and Grandpa Campbell's
Two times now we have found a hummingbird in our house! They are just convinced that they can get out through the front window and the only way we can get them out is to catch them!!
I'll bet I'm talking to Megan or Haley.... :)
Tristan joined me this year in the Scenic River Classic. He did the one mile kids run and paid for it himself. I think that a mile was a lot longer than he had expected.
The kids had lots of fun with all the free snow cones they wanted, chic-fil-a treats and lots of other freebies!
And Tristan won a $20 gift card to Bill's Bike and Run! Oh, and I won a free oil change!
This was when I took Alaina on a date. What I didn't get a picture of was at the Skate Park beforehand. Alaina really wanted to go there, and within seconds of getting on her bike she had gone off one of the steepest drop-offs at the park and totally crashed! (I walked up with my bike just in time to see it.) Luckily, the skater boys were really nice and helpful and she had a helmet on. But she was totally shocked that she had crashed and wasn't able to manage the drop! We went to Kiwi Loco after to soothe her wounded pride.
Splash park in Rexburg with Haley!
Fourth of July Parade!!
Then we came home and crashed for a little bit, before we headed over to the church for the barbecue! Beautiful, beautiful food.
Then we did volleyball and Ben Young got a cooler of water dumped on him!
Fireworks!! We brought sandwiches and got glow sticks and had a great time and best of all, everyone made it home in one piece!
The next day we all met at the park and had pizzas and played kickball and played on the toys.
Emme can get to this position with just her arms and then hang there forever. It's quite impressive.
Pics from summer and playing outside
Alex and his homemade ice cream truck, which helped him feel better about not having any money for the real one. He printed out all the pictures and cut out the letters and even had me make a cd with the music "Turkey in the Straw" that the ice cream trucks play.
The only actual product he had were Otter-Pops, but Irelyn didn't mind!
We bought this blow-up pool for $8, and it was such a good investment! Here Alex is modeling the snorkel he made for himself, out of random things he found in the house.
A few picture of how we dressed our kids so we could get free meals at Chic-Fil-A. It worked- all the kids got free meals!
(Yes, we literally took a toy cow and tied it around Irelyn's head with yarn!)
Then we used library coupons for some Orange Leaf, although it still cost quite a bit! But, I love Orange Leaf so I didn't mind. Oh, and while we were at the Chic-Fil-A Irelyn peed her pants while in the play area and it went ALL over. I felt so bad. They had to close the play area down and it was sooo busy! Also, we didn't have any extra clothes packed for Irelyn, so she wore a blanket tied around her waist to Orange Leaf. :) Parents of the Year, here.
Oh, and Alex got his face painted like a cow.
We made our own watermelon and fruit popsicles. They were... okay. But Otter Pops are a lot better and a whole lot cheaper!
Alex and more face painting.
And some dress-ups and dancing!
This is a totally random picture, but this is what Alex always looks after we eat at Pizza Pie. He loves it there, but he always eats so much that afterwards he always feels sick!
And look at how little Irelyn was in these pictures!
Another little Irelyn!!
Danny handed me this container and asked me to hold it. Then he just stood behind me and waited to see how long I would hold it. I held it for quite a long time, until I looked behind me and saw him laughing!
And another picture Danny took. He said I was praying to the computer bads.

This was something that Alex made in Sunday School with just paper, tape and crayons.
And this was what Alex did with an inflatable whale that had been torn. Make it into a costume!
Tent fun!
