Well, I am so super behind on posts, this is going to take me a while to get caught up. But we've been doing some really fun things, and I want to write about them! So, I am going to try to just do a little bit frequently and see if I can get caught up!!
So here goes, with lots of pictures and not so many words!!
Tristan's Birthday!! This was his first year to have friends over, and he thought that was super fun. They made flubber and got to take it home. (And I used wayyy too much food coloring and it stained all their hands. I'll bet all the moms loved me!)
Most of the time they all wanted to just jump on the trampoline!!
Tristan wanted a red and white cake, and although it doesn't look very good, it actually tasted great!
They did a superhero cake-walk, but they got to pick out prizes, instead of cake!
He had lots of fun, and that night we did family presents, only we forgot to take pictures!!
He is 6 years old now, and very proud of it!!
Then a few weeks later, we had Alaina's birthday, but hers was just with family this year.
(Does anyone know how to rotate a picture on here?)
Even though it was only family and low-key, for some reason I got all stressed out and got super annoyed when her cake started falling apart. Then Tristan came up and pushed on a candle and the whole thing collapsed. Something I would usually laugh about, but I got really mad. Sorry Tristan!! (I apologized later to him.) It still turned out fine, and Alaina thought it was the most beautiful cake ever!!
There were cupcakes with strawberries, too.... Yumm...
She got ruby slippers,
Barbie mermaids from Grandma, dress-up jewelry, a movie,
a rapunzel dress from Grandma and Grandpa Campbell,
and this awesome wood horse stable with horses and rider (that I got for free from a friend!). She was ecstatic about everything!!
And, even though this was in May and Emme's birthday was in February, we had her birthday, too!! We just couldn't get around to it earlier, and she really didn't mind. :) (And these are the most horrible pictures!!) She got a dolly and a horsey from Grandma!
So, everything turned out great and maybe next time I will not get stressed-out beforehand!
Yeah! One post done, only five-thousand more to go!!

Your kids are so big and old and cute! That picture of Emme at the end is so funny, she hangs out in her high chair for hours and doesn't seem to mind at all because she has so much entertainment around her! Happy birthday to my little shmoopsies!
I hope you keep posting! I've found that it is way easier and easier to read if I do small posts. Usually I do long, drawn out posts though, just to keep you all deeply involved in my thoughts and our lives. Hehehe....
I love that last picture of Emme with her pony tail/ sticky cake hair! She is getting so big and I hardly know her! Also, it is so funny that you did her birthday several months late! It is true though that she doesn't care. Anya's first birthday we were at the motel and she just got a stuffed kitty wrapped in the brown paper bag it came in. We bought her a tiny Tinkerbell cake and sang Happy Birthday to her at the Newell's too. Then last year we were visiting Idaho and we made those cupcakes and sang to her at the park, but that was all. Not even a present! We are EVIL parents.
Poor middle children getting lost amongst all the chaos of their siblings!
Well, I am glad that Tristan finally got to have a party with friends over.
I love Alaina's horsey stable!
We are trying to decide if we will have people over for an Anya birthday in a few weeks. I kind of want to just do something with just us, and since she is the middle child, that is probably what will happen! Which isn't bad, but remember Audrey's third birthday party with all the girls dressed as princesses and the castle cake, etc.? Yeah, Anya is going to look back on the pictures and wonder what she did s wrong that her birthdays were so "low key"!
Okay, so that was a really long comment.
I'm going to keep commenting so it looks like you got all these comments but really they are all from me! Wahaha!!
You should comment on my blog.
Okay. That's all.
That was tricky, Megan! Here I thought Melinda had rec'd. all these comments from different people!
Melinda, I loved seeing how your pictures turned out, and reading about their parties. I think your Super Hero Cake Walk idea is great! Tristan looks so happy at his party!
Alaina was so excited at her party, she was about to explode, I think. And Emme was sooo laid back. Cute!
HEY! Random, but I came home from my errands today and guess what was in my mailbox??? A Kohl's $10 off coupon card thingy! In MY mailbox! I thought it was too funny. I guess I made the "cut". I'm in the club now. hahaha!!
It was great to see you today! Good luck with upcoming baby girl! ♥
